Mac I love Violator! For some reason I have been wanting to listen to "Policy of Truth" and "Enjoy the Silence." I gave the album a listen to over the past week and I forgot how much I love that album. Sometimes revisiting albums you haven't listened to in a while is great. I always find something in the music I didn't before.
Very true.    It's like seeing a old friend after a long time and remembering why you loved them so much, but with a new perspective.
I have several albums like that - Discovery by Mike Oldfield, Forever Young by Alphaville, Darwin (and many others) by Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Demis (2009) by Demis Roussos, Albedo 0.39 by Vangelis, Ricochet (and many others) by Tangerine Dream, many more...   and every time I "rediscover"  them it's a moving and deep experience, like getting back in touch with a part of myself...

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
You mean those were really the lyrics of the song?  O__o     (I'm not into Queen, I must admit)

Anyone can see...nothing really mattress..tooooo meee!
I think I know this song - "Nothing else mattress" by Metrallica, right?

 :P

The truly amazing thing is the speed at which you can pull the mattress out of your bed, spray words on it, take a picture and post it -  man, you're fast!

That is cool. I like the way it sounds.  How is it tuned? I know guitar is EADGBE.

And more

(the reverb is not the room (not entirely, anyway) but some special strings that vibrate in resonance to the ones that actually play the music.

Anyway, just toos the word into youtube and you'll get plenty  :)

No, I believe you are mistaken. Nyckelharpa is one of HP Lovecraft's Elder Gods.

The BBC is still producing radio shows. My daughter found a funny one called "cabin Pressure".  At least good radio isn't dead across the pond.

I just gave an interview with an audio team in England talking about the differences between radio drama in the UK (thanks to the Beeb!) and in here in Canada: http://www.audiofactory.co.uk/2012/10/06/peterchurch/
