He was eccentric in his old age to say the least. I can go on and on about him. He was fascinating.

Honestly, I wish you would. I don't know too much about him.

Aside from all of Jim's OTR I've just begun listening to NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Very smart and very funny.

I've been listening to a lot of Bob & Ray, and also trying to get into the Goon Show... I think I'm slowly starting to understand it... the first season or two were simply MANIC!

I enjoy Snap Judgement and The Moth, story tellers at their best.

Meow, Violator is one of my favorite albums ever and Policy of Truth is one of my favorite songs  :)

Anyway, the past year or so has been so crazy that I haven't had a lot of focus on anything, including OTR, but for the past few weeks I've listened to some Suspense and some Shadow episodes. I guess that in a while I'll head for Uncle Jim's little home and see if he's got some Sci-fi stuff for me - it's getting cold, so I'm getting into a sci-fi mood  :)

As to music, I'm really beginning to enjoy this Swedish band and I'll soon be getting some CDs by them I've seen on Tradera

I've just finished up the Jimmy Stewart series, The Six Shooter.  Wonderful stories and well done.

Thanks to Into the West for the introduction!

I'll check them out.

As an Andy Griffith fan, it was great to hear Howard McNair pop up every now and then in the series.

Yeah, he's pretty funny as doc compared to the TVLand version almost like enjoys all the mayhem.

The Adventures of Babe Ruth from 1934. Yes, he was Superman back then or should I say Batman?
