Don't blame you.
But I loved movies like that as a kid, the cheesier the better. I still like them now.

I passed by a 50 pack of these bad horror movies, and another about sci-fi shows. I am so tempted to buy it for these. It had The Atomic Brain.

If it's the same sets you're talking about - I got them, and a couple more sets as well! I found them in Big Lots a few years ago. I'd have to say they were definitely a mixed bag of films. I discovered a couple of old Vincent Price films in the Horror set so that made it worth the money for me - but they weren't that expensive to begin with.

I own one set, which maybe the one you are referring to, and passed on another, which seemed to be a lot of public domain stuff and other films that I swear were college kids fooling around during film 101.

I think Ghost Hunt (Suspense) would have made a great Tales From The Crypt episode.

A Hall of Fantasy TV series would have been pretty good I think.

I just put those sets out at work the other day :)

That would be nice, yes  :)    And I remembered an episode I'd love to see if it had been filmed in the 40's or 50's:  The bracelet of Ammoniris.  I don't remember what series it comes from, it was in one of your collections, Jim, do you remember?  I must have listened to it at least 15 times...

I've looked around and a found an episode titled  "The Golden Bracelet of Amoniris" and from the sources I'm looking at shows it to be from "The Hall of Fantasy". The source I'm using says it broadcast on August 3rd, 1953. One source simply has it listed as "The Golden Bracelet"

Hope this helps you out!

PS: I did a search on the Relic Radio home page and there were no results for the episode - using neither title.

Yes, that's the title, thanks!  :)      Oh, so it is from the hall of fantasy...  O__O     I have it in a collection I got from Jim's store, I don't know if he ever included it in a podcast, though.

I think Ghost Hunt (Suspense) would have made a great Tales From The Crypt episode.

A Hall of Fantasy TV series would have been pretty good I think.

I think the "Ghost Hunt" story from Suspense would have worked in the Tales From the Crypt series, but they were mainly focused on the stories that were in the comics from the '50's - that was their source for the show. All the episodes were based on the EC comics Tales From the Crypt, The Haunt of Fear, The Vault of Horror, Shock SuspenStories and a couple of other series of comics.

They probably wouldn't have done it. Maybe another series...

As to Hall of Fantasy...

That could be a good series, but there are not that many episodes, so the show would have to be a limited-run series that could run for a couple of years after all the episodes are adapted.

...or new stories for the show could be made (like they did for The Outer Limits a few years ago), but from what I've seen from today's shows - I'd go with the limited-run series (and hope the producers give it the attention it deserves).

Guess what we'll be hearing this Saturday?  I did play it in 2007, and not since (that's why it isn't on the website).

Thanks for the reminder, Mac!
